Here are some things you can do to help relieve sciatica:

  • Apply ice to the affected area.
  • Check with your doctor what medications you can take to help reduce swelling.
  • Stretch the affected muscles (lie down and pull one knee to your chest and hold and breath. Repeat with other leg)
  • Wear a back brace.
  • Try acupuncture.
  • Visit a chiropractor /Physical therapist
  • Contact a massage therapist
  • Try Reflexology (some say this is the only therapy that works for them)
